🧭 The Prompt

You know how last week we took inventory of color? Well, this time we’re switching senses.

Your challenge is to collect and catalog textures from your environment, hobbies, or daily life. Think of it as a tactile inventory — the smooth, the fuzzy, the grainy, the bumpy, and everything in between.

✨ Some Ideas

• Inventory the textures in a specific place — your desk, your kitchen, your bag.
• Explore textures within a hobby — fabrics, art supplies, tools, plants, or ingredients.
• Create playful categories: “fresh linen”, “polished stone”, or “crunchy leaf”.
• Rate your items: softness (1–5), bumpiness (1–5), density, glossiness.
• Track changes over time — how your textures shift with the seasons or projects.

The only rule: your project must express or reflect texture as data.
